Mr.'s home from work just as I was getting ready to write a long, wordy, and deep post. Oh well, next time...here's some hot pictures in the meantime, cuz I gotta tend to my man...he's tired, worn out to hell, and needs some huggin. It's a little mix of pits, hair, cock, and tatts...kinda like what occupies my bed. :-)

Couch Dreams
Ah Sunday. Survived the visit from my parental units and Mr., as expected, was adored and loved by both of them. I took the rents to my fave breakfast place and then we popped downtown to the modern art museum. There were a few inspiring pieces and an amazing collection of screen prints from Warhol that spanned an entire floor stacked one after the other. All based on a single shadow in his apartment in Soho. Crazy how all together they created this huge piece of art, but alone were just a shadow and some different paint colors. Then we popped into the American Indian Museum and the building itself is almost enough of a reason to go...beautiful.
After a quick bite to eat at my fave little cafe we did some couch time and a walk with my kids on the trail. Then we popped over to a lovely little upscale Irish restaurant and pub and had a delish meal! I slept on the couch with my two boys (of course the dog's couch was completely empty most of the night) and actually didn't sleep to poorly. My folks are headed off to the beach house now and the kids and I may just be in for a late morning, post coffee nap. Mr. is off at Yoga and I think will be doing a double class because he's just that amazing. I think once it warms up a bit I'll hit the trail alone for a run so I don't feel like such a loaf. Tonight I'm hosting dinner for the lesbos and Mr. and making a Beer Butt Chicken. I just have to find a can of beer that isn't crap. I thought I could get a six pack of soda, and a twelve pack of good bottled beer, and just empty a soda and use the can for the good beer. I think that's probably my best bet. I don't want my good chicken to taste like ass beer.
Anywho, that's where I stand...just some relaxing chill time today with friends and my dogs...and a bit of running in between. Hoping for a week of clarity and resolutions at work. With another court date on the horizon between my feuding bosses, but no actual day set, I'm just lucky if I can get through the week without getting a subpoena. Blurgh. - Rin

Furrost! Already?
They're already calling for snow...well, hopefully flurries only, but already?!?! It seems we now just have two seasons...summer and winter. We had insane heat in early spring, and now we're busting right through my favorite season, and one thing that keeps me from completely missing my west coast beach life, and it just is gone in a blink. I drove to work yesterday with my seat warmers on high...and I never do that cuz it makes me feel like I pooped myself. No one likes to question whether they pooped themselves on the way to work, so I typically go right to low and just leave it at that. But yesterday felt like jack frost slapped me in the face when I got into my truck.
Not sure what the weekend will bring. I do know I desperately need to go grocery shopping. I usually am on such a good regular schedule with stocking food, but lately I've just had no desire to go, and last week I didn't want to stock food and have it go to waste while I was on vacay. So, i'm down to bare bones and feeling a bit like Old Mother Hubbard. My dogs are eating great though. Luckily Mr. treated me to dinner last night after work so we had some time to unwind together. I think I may be fighting off the tip of a cold that has been circling my office...and I will beat this thing before I start showing more symptoms then a random sneeze and a foggy head in the morning. Another reason I must motivate myself to get to the store...Emergen-C to the rescue.
In the meantime, grow your chest hair out, or if that's not an option, find a fuzzy man to curl up with and prepare for winter, because she's a coming! - Rin

Mandatory Mondays
Alarm went off, dogs pranced by my bed, I got up, stretched, tucked the morning wood into my trunks (cuz my blinds are always open), put my contacts in, semi dressed myself, walked my boys along the trail, smiled at the shirtless runner, came home, fed boys, brewed coffee, sat down, paid parking tickets...and now I don't wanna get up! I need another day, please? I'm realizing that not using my vacation and sick time is not wise...I think I need to be better at just forecasting out and plotting time off way in advance, rather than just saying, "I'll use it next month." I have 70 hours of vacation time and 50 hours of sick...just sitting there. When I plan on using a few hours here and there, the week gets insane and I end up comping the time off that I had with hours that I worked over.
So, I'm going to commit to myself to start plotting a day or two each month whether I have plans or not to just take a day. I am headed out of town with old college friends in August which I really looking forward to. And I have my parents beach house reserved just for me (and whoever I may be hanging out with at the time) in September. I'm taking the Rockstar Lesbos (my bestie and her wife) to my families cabin over Labor day with my two boys and their three dogs...which will be a crazy adventure. Don't worry bout me...i'll be safe with my lesbians. Next up is possibly Toronto. There's an adorable guy I met and have been keeping in touch with that lives there. How are Canadians so nice? They're just a touch north of us, what's going on up there that keeps them all that way? The water? Anywho, he's a doll and offered to tour me around since I've never been as an adult. Why pass up a free place to stay and a hot ass tour guide right?
I'd say that's at least a start. I can't get to Christmas this year and realize I didn't at least expand my horizons beyond my normal vacation spots...of course I'll be headed to San Diego at least once before the end of the year, if not twice. That being said I need to get moving and get into the office. It's another week, and hopefully another successful boost to the new quarter. We are hitting our stride and I really see my team motivated to keep it up. Clients are loving the changes and the new fresh vibe we're carrying with us. Drama be gone as we get closer and closer to the day my boss's crazy ass business partner is finally and completely severed from the business. He bad joo joo fo sho. Ok Lovelies...Monday is for the Man's Man...enjoy the day!

Thirsty Thursday
What an intense couple of days ahead! I just realized that today is my review at work...of course I was the one to schedule it with my supervisor, but at least I'm getting one. I basically had to say..."It's been two and a half years since I started in this position, I'm doing a job far above my title...it's time for a review and promotion." Which was followed by, "Yes, we need to do that!". Which I replied with..."Before May 1st." So, I am looking forward to that part of today. :-) Sometimes you just have to be bold and say what you want when you know you've proven yourself and have the information to back it up. I've come a long way from being that fat kid on a bus getting made fun of and never saying or doing anything about it!
On top of all of this of course is my move. My Lesbians are coming over tonight to help me move all my boxes and furniture into one area to save the movers time and save me money. Since my new place is on the third floor with no elevators, I want to make sure they save a lot of time for there. I promised beer and pizza and the lesbians were in before I got to pizza. Of course I had to remind them to leave the uhaul at home...and their cats. :-) But considering my lack of a vagina, the uhaul was only slightly in their plan...it was the smell of boxes that brought it to their minds.
Friday I have my walk through and get my keys!! Let's fast forward to then, and then fast forward to Saturday afternoon. If life were only on Tivo!
Well, I'm about to finish my coffee and get going for work. The boys are walked, fed, and are in the midst of their morning play time. If these wet boys don't make you thirsty, I give up.

MANdatory Mondays
Brisk morning walk with my boys gave me the clarity to realize that I just spent my last weekend in the house I share with my ex. Eight years later and it comes down to counting the days. My move is less than two weeks away and I'll be heading to Southern California for a wedding on Thursday and enjoying the weekend there. Then I'll be coming back and in a mad rush of final moving prep. So, I'll be enjoying the calm before the storm the next few days.
I feel emotionally and almost physically ready for the move. I think my boys are ready and they seem to not be stressing anymore and have settled in to seeing boxes and packing. They're so intuitive and I do everything I can to reduce the stress that I'm sure they're going to go through with the changes about to happen. While I have attacked my own emotions head on, keeping my thoughts on them helps me stay focused on all the positive changes that are ahead.
I have a date tonight so I'm going to get to work early so I can come home and change and get myself looking good. Hoping for a nice relaxing date and good conversation. He's pretty damn cute too.
Here's to a good Monday and an even better week.
