Did you bring your shower shoes?

Twas a Saturday Night

Well, it's been a long day but all I really want to do is cuddle up on the couch under a blanket with a hot guy and sleep there until the morning.  Unfortunately I don't have any hot guys on speed dial at the moment, but I definitely need to get on that project.  I just need to figure out what city i'm looking in so I don't find my dream guy the week before I am moving across the country.

Of course tonight I hung out with my fabulous lesbian friends and they almost convinced me to stay put...of course I've already convinced myself to find a new job, regardless of whether I stay here or not...but for the first time in a few weeks, I actually could see myself staying and finding a life here.  Weird!  Just when I thought I knew what I wanted a lesbian wrench gets thrown into the mix to F it up.

Anywho, I should just go and watch some tv and go to bed, but I think I'll weed through some pics and share some of my faves.  Hope everyone is having a good weekend!   - Rin

Friday Fashion

Friday Friday Friday!

What a week...snow, work, blinking power, falling trees, and more work in between.  At least it's Friday right?  My boys did really well with the shorter walks and the snow filled back yard.  It's amazing how people around here drive though...i mean my street was covered in snow, it's still snowing, and i'm walking two boxers through the middle because the sidewalks are filled...and people are still going through the neighborhood 15 miles over the speed limit.   Wow, I sound like an old guy in a nursing home complaining about the kids skateboarding in the parking lot.

Enough of that!  Good news is I have a lot of new prospects in the works.  It's scarier sometimes with more choices than not having any at all.  But I'm trying to not get too excited about any one option that may materialize as I truly do believe I'll end up where i'm supposed to be.  I just hope it's somewhere warm and with lots of coastline!  :-)    I am craving the excitement of setting up my new house...exploring a new neighborhood, or rediscovering one I've missed for a few years.  While it's hard to imagine this much change in such a short time, it's exhilarating at the same time.

I'm looking forward to a weekend with friends and with some needed organizing and thinning of possessions.  Time to prep for a possible move and this time around, i'm going light!  I'm planning to whip up some old school baked macaroni and cheese and probably some of my cinnamon chip scones.  I'll share pictures and the recipes!  I love to have fresh baked goods with my coffee on the weekends...i just try to spread them out to my neighbors and friends so I'm not tempted to eat them all.   :-)

MANdatory Mondays

These are some men's mens up in here!

Today wasn't such a bad start to the week.  While it's ridiculously cold, I survived and am now enjoying some comfy couch time with my boxer bois.  This morning it was 8 degrees on my walk with know its cold when the poo is steaming before it even hits the ground.  For a guy who lived in southern ca for 8 years before living here in the northeast again, it's a tough transition.  While things are in the works that may get me back to the sunny socal, I survive.  It helps to come home and mix up a batch of veggie chili though.

Sunday Supper

A little tasting menu to start off the Sunday Supper Tradition!

I don't know which one would be the appetizer and which would be dessert, but I think any combination would be a great way to end the weekend!

First Post

So, I'm embarking on a new adventure and thought I'd create a little journal of sorts to keep track of the ups, downs, and in betweens of it all.  I love photography...and I love hot, my thoughts, insights, and ramblings will be wrapped in a lovely layer of pix of men I find intriguing & hot.

After my 8 year relationship came to an end at the start of the new year, I vowed to press on through the uncertainty of it all and keep focused on the amazing opportunities that life has in store.  I'm a planner in all areas, and with so many choices I have found it hard to organize my thoughts and map out my next steps.  Am I moving back to the West Coast? Am I starting a new career in a new state?  With whatever comes my way, I have my two boxer bois with me and I know it'll be an exciting ride.  Share your thoughts on life, guys, and anything else that may be fitting for the day.
