What a week...snow, work, blinking power, falling trees, and more work in between. At least it's Friday right? My boys did really well with the shorter walks and the snow filled back yard. It's amazing how people around here drive though...i mean my street was covered in snow, it's still snowing, and i'm walking two boxers through the middle because the sidewalks are filled...and people are still going through the neighborhood 15 miles over the speed limit. Wow, I sound like an old guy in a nursing home complaining about the kids skateboarding in the parking lot.
Enough of that! Good news is I have a lot of new prospects in the works. It's scarier sometimes with more choices than not having any at all. But I'm trying to not get too excited about any one option that may materialize as I truly do believe I'll end up where i'm supposed to be. I just hope it's somewhere warm and with lots of coastline! :-) I am craving the excitement of setting up my new house...exploring a new neighborhood, or rediscovering one I've missed for a few years. While it's hard to imagine this much change in such a short time, it's exhilarating at the same time.
I'm looking forward to a weekend with friends and with some needed organizing and thinning of possessions. Time to prep for a possible move and this time around, i'm going light! I'm planning to whip up some old school baked macaroni and cheese and probably some of my cinnamon chip scones. I'll share pictures and the recipes! I love to have fresh baked goods with my coffee on the weekends...i just try to spread them out to my neighbors and friends so I'm not tempted to eat them all. :-)
